Our miniature donkeys are Miniature Mediterranean donkeys. And while most people do not consider miniatures to be good guardian donkeys, we have seen our donkey protect our ducks from what she thought was potential danger (we assure you they were safe!).
Miniature donkeys are seriously fun. Oreo gives rides to our small children and she loves to "help" us work on the farm. They have so much personality. They meet us at the gate and run us up the driveway, ready to greet us as soon as we exit the vehicle. They are great for small farms and homesteads!
Our Foals
Foals are born periodically. Our foals are registered with The Miniature Donkey Registry (MDR). When they leave the farm, they will be up to date on vaccinations. We ensure our foals are healthy and in good condition when they leave our farm. We can make no guarantees after they leave the farm, as we can not control the conditions of the environment that they will be in.
We ask that you research the breed, know the basics, and have adequate fencing. There are some great Facebook groups that you can join to get more familiar with the breed.

Reservations
If you would like to place a deposit on a foal, there is a $1,000 nonrefundable deposit. We will send you weekly updates on your foal along with pictures. The remainder of the amount is due at the time of pickup.
Transportation
Traveling is stressful for animals, we recommend having your animal(s) checked by a licensed veterinarian within a week of travel. Some states require special certificates, health inspections, or paperwork completed. You will be required to pay those fees, if any, to meet your state requirements.
We hope that you will be able to visit us and pick up your foal. West Virginia has beautiful scenery and there are many activities available in our area. We are within thirty minutes of the newest national park, New River Gorge National Park. You can go hiking, see a waterfall, or if you are the adventurous type, take a rafting trip! We can offer suggestions to visit the area while you pick up your foal.
For those that can not make the trip, we offer deliveries to most of the east coast or can help you arrange delivery. We charge a delivery fee to cover our fuel to your location. We also offer other delivery options as well, so please contact us if you would like to have your foal delivered and I will give you a price quote to your location.
